The Royal finale

What entertainment the one sided semi-finals could not provide, was provided in abundance by the thrilling final match of the IPL.

Close finish in like this is among the very few sporting moments that provides an ideal climax to a long event.

What made IPL so special was the camaraderie shown by the players coming from different nations and still playing as a team. To top it all, the tourney was won by the only team having a non-indian captain.

The elder Pathan and Watson were more than impressive. Watson made a half century in the semifinal and took first three wickets of the oposition to become the man of the match. An interesting coincidence happened in the final. Pathan also took first three wickets of the opposition and made a quick half-century and won the man of the match trophy.

This was only the first year and the event will certainly get better over the period of time..
Here is an IPL Dream Team.

Now its time to watch Roland Garros. It is almost understood that Nadal is reaching the final and it will be very very interesting if Federer too makes it to the last match.
