Valuing the values

    Maharashtra government has sought Mr. Narayana Murthy's advice for the further development and planning of IT industry in Pune. This is a wise move indeed. NRN (as Mr. Murthy is fondly called in his company) is one of my idols.

    A man of great vision and wisdom, NRN has enriched thousands of Indian households not only by creating the employment opportunities, but also by igniting the bright young minds with his views. And this happens in an extraordinary manner. NRN seldom talks about his thoughts. His actions speak more. Out of his innumerable speeches made everywhere, people and employees of Infy gather the pearls of his wisdom, the moral values which he supports. Even if you walk in the corridors of Infy, you will listen to his thoughts being discussed. One of my favorites is "The factor which motivates employees most is- challenging work." Then there are many more covering almost every part of the life. He supports the view that IT employees should pay the taxes to government.

    In my opinion, Indian youth should always practice valuing the values. I do not mean that it is lacking, but I wish to stress upon the importance of values here.
