AR Rahman's 'Jai Ho' concert in Pune yesterday wasn't only treat to ears but to eyes also with aesthetic stage setups and light effects.
As the electic songs from Slumdog, Dil Se, Bombay, Delhi-6, Jodhaa Akbar and Guru were played, music, lights and emotions danced together.
The music aficionados had thronged outside the venue several hours earlier, and they had lot to enjoy. Roop Kumar Rathod, Hariharan, Raja hassan were also among the performers.
Rahman played piano for some songs, he sang some, then as he played and sang 'maula maula', the atmosphere culminated in transcendental.
As expected, the 'Jai Ho' song also made the fans cheer wildly. The music might have faded out of ears, but the reverberations in mind are going to stay for long.
The streams of music flowing in ears and minds of fans, were originating from the veins of Rahman. Even if this man bleeds he would compose a new melody to gift us.
