Mermaid

Fiesta, firework, food and alluring music,
the luxurious ship sails to places fantastic

feeling like caught in a 'Truman show',
Truman dives in sea, swims in the wild flow

mind fixed on island of his interest,
he is swift, but the waves are fiercest

someone welcomes him in a short while
a mermaid- young, pretty, with a lovely smile

he prefers to be in her company
she too, is on similar jouorney

her sublime attraction, may bring distraction
but he is wise, and resolute in his action

waves subside, and storms wither
soon as they both float together,
happily, thereafter....
